Support for Victims of Human Trafficking

InfoMart is committed to helping the survivors of human trafficking.  In the event that information adverse to you appears on your consumer report that relates to being a victim of Human Trafficking, we encourage you to contact us and request that the information be blocked.

To assist us in processing your request, the following information is required:

  • Your preferred method of communication for us to contact you about your request.
  • Proof of Identity:
    • Copy of a government-issued identification document
      • Driver’s license
      • Government-issued ID
      • Passport
      • Social Security card
      • Birth certificate

If someone is submitting information on your behalf, along with your proof of identity, your designated representative must also provide proof of their identity and a valid power of attorney or equivalent documentation authorizing them to act on your behalf.

  • Trafficking Documentation:
    • Identified adverse items of information:
      • Specify the particular item(s) in your report that you are requesting to be blocked.
    • Victim determination:
      • Documentation substantiating your status as a victim of human trafficking.
    • This verification can be provided by:
  • A federal, state, tribal, or other government or law enforcement entity.
  • Non-governmental organizations or members of a human trafficking task force authorized by a government entity.
  • Documentation from a court indicating a determination of your victimhood.
  • A signed or certified statement from you, declaring your victimhood, endorsed by a representative of a government entity, court, or authorized non-government organization or human trafficking task force.
