Case Studies
CASE STUDY: Cox Enterprises

Challenge:
Cox Enterprises, a giant in the media and communications broadcasting industry, found itself struggling to implement an effective screening program to alleviate its two challenges. Cox was unable to coordinate its hundreds of locations while maintaining a costly, paper-intensive internal screening program.

Solution:
Cox was delighted to find that InfoMart was able to streamline their processes through WebASAP (Web-based Applicant Screening Automated Profiles). InfoMart's WebASAP is easy to use, quick, and extensive in accuracy.

Result:
InfoMart's WebASAP connected hundreds of locations while eliminating mountains of paperwork, thus dramatically reducing internal cost. As a true partner, Cox Enterprises can again position themselves to grow at an astonishing rate knowing InfoMart will support their screening program.

CASE STUDY: Philip Morris

Challenge:
With homeland security a main focus among all US companies, Philip Morris needed to be able to know who their business partners are. With numerous contractors and vendors physically on-site at Philip Morris locations, security personnel were overwhelmed in ensuring sufficient checks for access.

Solution:
Philip Morris was pleased to have InfoMart, a long time partner, implement a screening program that eased the burden for their personnel. InfoMart subsequently gathered a list of all contractors/vendors while Philip Morris notified each of them via mail that they must undergo a background check for admittance. InfoMart set a flat rate package that included criminal histories and additional services that were necessary for a particular job. The results were sent to both the contractor/vendor and Philip Morris's security department. Once the completed profile was brought by the contractor/vendor to Philip Morris, a security badge was issued, thus allowing appropriate personnel on the premises.

Result:
Philip Morris eliminated any doubt of their business partner's validity.

CASE STUDY: Day & Zimmerman

Challenge:
Day & Zimmerman, a conglomerate that serves military facilities, government agencies, and privatized companies, was unable to have all of its concepts utilize a single source provider for the benefit of economies of scale. Their challenges were two-fold. One, they need a screening company to handle their operations that were mandated by government agencies. Secondly, their geographic scope was too broad to effectively centralize the process.

Solution:
Day & Zimmerman, one of the largest privately held companies in the world, was excited to partner with one of the largest privately held background screening companies in the world, InfoMart. Our philosophy, customer care, and geographic scope were in sync with Day & Zimmerman's goals. InfoMart designed a customized solution that brought each concept under a centralized program, allowing a consistent program across the companies. Some Business Groups implemented InfoMart's hiring criteria, where InfoMart "graded" the results reflecting a "pass" or "fail" status according to Day & Zimmerman's hiring guidelines thus speeding up the process. Government mandates such as FAA guidelines were achieved, geographic boundaries were overcome, and one uniform pricing schedule was established for all concepts.

Result:
Day & Zimmerman relished in the accomplishment of reducing their overall cost while partnering with a single-source provider to handle an extremely diverse conglomerate. The introduction of a "hiring criteria" further streamlined Day & Zimmerman's multiple business groups, allowing each business group's autonomy in their hiring needs.
