New York Statewide Mandatory Fee
In July of 2003 the State of New York Office of Court Administration began offering a Statewide Criminal History Search that offers a complete and comprehensive criminal history record search of all 62 counties in the state of New York.
While clients still have the ability to run many individual jurisdictions in New York State this statewide search is mandatory in 11 of the 62 New York counties which are listed below:
- Allegany
- Bronx
- Cayuga
- Cortland
- Hamilton
- Kings
- Nassau
- New York
- Orleans
- Queens
- Richmond
Should your applicant have a criminal history in the state of New York, the statewide search will return both felonies and misdemeanors. An individual jurisdiction search in New York will return felonies only.
If this comprehensive search meets your screening needs, please remember the following:
- When submitting names with AKAs or maiden names, the mandatory fee of $52.00 is charged per name. The State of New York runs each name as an individual search to ensure a detailed search.
- A complete date of birth must be provided to run this search. Names are searched through the Office of the Court Administration by name and date of birth only.
