Tips for Submitting Criminal Requests
At InfoMart, we understand that our clients require that their screening results be returned as quickly as possible. To maintain the high quality of service that we strive to provide our clients, we will occasionally require additional identifying information on your candidate(s).
Below are a few processing tips that serve to expedite requests for criminal histories. These tips, if followed, will help us better serve your needs while providing a lower turnaround time:
- Make sure that you have ACCURATELY spelled the candidate's name
- Search all jurisdictions that your candidate has lived in the past 7 years. Use the National Social Security Search (NSSS) function to instantly identify a 7-year address history. Our NSSS functionality can eliminate data entry, improve quality (no sticky fingers causing inaccurate searches), and help you experience an 18% higher hit rate!
- When requesting an International criminal history search, please provide InfoMart with as much information as possible - including the maiden name of the mother of the candidate, last known address in the requested international jurisdiction, and a passport number, if available. This information can be added to Special Instructions in WebASAP or given directly to your Customer Service representative.
- If your applicant has admitted to committing a crime in a requested jurisdiction please note this in Special Instructions or notify your Customer Service representative. The type of charge and year of charge are especially useful. This information can be helpful in locating records that might otherwise be difficult to find.
If you have questions about these tips, or would like more information about criminal history searches, contact a Customer Service representative at 770-984-2727 or customerservice@infomart-usa.com.
