InfoMart Achieves New Security Certification
InfoMart has entered into an agreement with independent security firm Cybertrust to evaluate our security program and conduct ongoing assessments. Cybertrust has more than 15 years experience in the information security industry, and has now certified InfoMart's compliance with its SiteSecure information security risk-reduction program.
This certification demonstrates InfoMart's adherence to an extensive and continuous security assurance process as well as validates our risk-reduction practices in the following categories:
- Electronic threats and vulnerabilities
- Malicious code
- Privacy issues
- Human factors
- Physical environment
- Downtime issues
To achieve this certification, InfoMart had its security controls, policies and procedures examined, measured and verified against a set of essential practices defined by Cybertrust. Evaluation procedures included external perimeter scanning of InfoMart's critical devices, verification of the security of our physical environment and perimeter physical defenses and an assessment of desktop computers. These assessments will be repeated periodically to ensure InfoMart stays compliant with the SiteSecure program and remains at the forefront of physical and technological security.
