InfoMart Raises Funds for Tsunami Relief
through Employees' Hard Work Marietta, GA (March 7, 2005) - Touched by the recent tsunami tragedy in Southeast Asia, InfoMart challenged its employees to complete as many applicant background checks as possible over a 24-hour period. In return for the employees' hard work, InfoMart donated money to the American Red Cross tsunami relief fund. Starting early in the morning, working overtime until 12 midnight, InfoMart employees were excited about challenging themselves to new heights as they helped to raise money for the tsunami relief efforts. "It was inspiring to see our employees' enthusiasm," said Tammy Cohen, InfoMart's President and Chair. "InfoMart prides itself on making a difference in our community and this was an opportunity to reach out even further to touch those who were devastated by this horrible event." Kathy Klatt, Major Gift Officer for American Red Cross Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter, recently attended an InfoMart employee meeting to receive the check totaling over $3,700. "This money will go to help the victims of the tsunami. No funds will remain in Atlanta, so you know that your efforts are being put to work to directly help people," said Ms. Klatt.
