InfoMart Donates to Marietta School

Source: Marietta Daily Journal
June 4, 2005

InfoMart, an applicant screening company, recently announced the donation of $1,500 to Brumby Elementary School's science department, supporting the school as they prepare to purchase supplies for the coming school year.

At a ceremony on May 19, the check was presented to brumby principals Genie Byrd and Reisha McKinney and science teacher Barbara Woods by InfoMart president Tammy Cohen and Holly Comer, senior manager of corporate relations.

The donation was part of an ongoing partnership, which began at the start of the 2004-2005 school year, and is part of the Partners in Education program sponsored by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce with the goal of partnering businesses with local schools to provide support with volunteers, monetary donations and special programs -- as well as giving students an opportunity to learn about businesses.
