Marietta, GA (February 22, 2011) – In recognition of the triumphs and achievements of African Americans in Metro Atlanta, InfoMart will host “Celebrate Black History – Life, Freedom, Diversity” on Friday, February 25 at 12:30 pm. This year’s Black History Month program is the sixth annual celebration hosted by InfoMart and will include a speech by Rashan Ali, co-host of The Ryan Cameron Show on V-103 FM and founder of Sporty Girls, Inc., and performances by spoken word and musical artists.

“At InfoMart, we firmly believe that none of us succeed until we all succeed, and our annual Black History Month program is rooted in that belief. Diversity builds us up, both as individuals and a company. We live the rewards of diversity everyday, but this event is a wonderful opportunity for us to join together with our community in a salute to diversity and Black History Month.” said InfoMart President and Chair, Tammy Cohen. “And this year we are delighted to welcome Rashan Ali and all of our special guests to our celebration.”

This year’s event will include a delicious soul food lunch, with dishes generously donated by Atlanta’s legendary Busy Bee Café. The celebration will also feature:

  • Rashan Ali speaking on black history and community outreach in Metro Atlanta.
  • Musical performances by Maya Tolbert and Will Gravely.
  • A special presentation to Sporty Girls, Inc.
  • Remarks from InfoMart’s president, Tammy Cohen.
  • And much more!
