As with many issues that touch our business, our employees and our community, InfoMart has always been committed to environmental awareness and action. That's why it is our policy to reduce our impact on the planet in part through recycling all aluminum, paper and plastic waste that is produced by our company. In addition, our building is outfitted with low-flow bathroom fixtures and energy-efficient lighting.
Situated on the banks Marietta's historic Rottenwood Creek, InfoMart recognizes how fortunate we are to be located in such a beautiful natural setting, and we are committed to preserving the creek and its surrounding environs. InfoMart is a proud part of Georgia's Adopt-A-Stream Program, which includes regular water quality monitoring and creek cleanup projects. To promote these environmentally-friendly efforts and establish new green policies and initiatives, InfoMart created a company task force known as the InfoMart Green Team. The Green Team is responsible for promoting internal environmental awareness while campaigning for employees to make positive changes for the planet in their homes and communities. Although we are pleased with our green efforts to date, we realize that there is still much we can do as a company to help our planet. In time for Earth Day 2008, InfoMart has established an employee Contract with the Earth. This document outlines the specific ways that InfoMart will reduce our impact on the environment. For this company-wide initiative, we called upon our employees to make suggestions for everyday ways that they can help the environment in their job. For more information on this policy, please contact Heather Wright, Director of Corporate Affairs, at 770-984-2727 ext. 1377 or via email at heather.wright@infomart-usa.com.
